  22. I spend lots 'o time in Lightwave and Photoshop, etc. etc., but 
  23. also spend a fair amount of time in file manager in windows NT. 
  24. There's a great shareware image viewing program called ACDC that 
  25. I use a lot while organizing directories and doing various 
  26. maintenence type stuff. I was thinking how cool it would be to 
  27. have a Lightwave object viewer that could be attached to file 
  28. manager, so that whenever you double-clicked on a .lwo file, 
  29. a little window would pop up with a view of the object. It would 
  30. be even cooler if it:

  32. had an option to view either quick wireframe or full color 
  33. OpenGL with a keyboard toggle,
  34.  
  35. was a sizeable window with gadgets so you could maximize the 
  36. window when you wanted a really good look,
  37.  
  38. but most important of all, while the window was displaying the 
  39. object, you would have the option of either a) closing the 
  40. window or b)opening in "browser" mode, which would scan the 
  41. current directory and list all Lightwave objects contained 
  42. therein, and enable you to use the cursor keys to highlight the 
  43. objects one at a time which would of course show a small view of 
  44. each object as the highlight bar stopped at each.

  48. I can't be the only one that would cough up some bucks for such 
  49. a useful utility!
